Rainey says: "When Rob and I found this place fifteen years ago, we discovered an old sign buried under profusions
of thick blackberry vines on the fence by the front gate. The top of the sign had fallen down and rotted away a long time
ago, but the lower plank of the original sign still hung there and said "and Holly Farm". That old half of the sign
had made it through storms and sun and years and even the prying thorny tangles of gigantic blackberry bushes-- We started
calling the place the And Holly Farm, and it stuck.
